The former glamour model has reached out to the Australian singer in her new autobiography You Only Live Once, saying she wants to meet face to face to discuss what went wrong in their marriage.
It is unclear how Andre, who was seen at a book signing in Derby yesterday, feels about his ex-wife's plea.

'It sounds crazy but it's been well over a year since we split up and I've only seen him twice.
We've never discussed the argument that led to him walking out and it feels like unfinished business in my head.
Plea: Katie at a book signing in Lincolnshire last weekThe actual reason behind the couple's split was never revealed, although the 37-year-old Mysterious Girl star has spoken about his problem with Katie's flirtatious behaviour after a few drinks.
Miss Price adds: 'I'd like to be able to put my side across then close the chapter though I also know that nothing is going to change.
'Peter was once my best friend as well as my husband.'
In case there was any doubt of her affection for Peter, the star also makes a lengthy tribute to her ex-husband in the dedication page of her book.
'I thank him for taking me on a wonderful journey of self discovery,' she says in the paragraph-long ode.
'I've turned from the cocooned chrysalis into the butterfly I am today!'
The gushing dedication will undoubtedly make for an awkward discussion between her and cage-fighter Alex, 35, who only garnered a sentence long thank you.
And while sources have told OK magazine that Reid is already 'hurt' by his wife's heartfelt outpouring to her ex, another man in Katie's life is said to be driving a wedge between them.
The model, distressed over their unsuccessful attempts at falling pregnant and the lengthy legal battle with Peter has been spending an increasing amount of time with her beloved horses, and therefore her trainer Andrew Gould, who shares the stables at her West Sussex home.

Although happily married, Gould has admitted that Peter was 'jealous' of his closeness to Katie. 'He always has been.'

'She sees [the horses] as an escape now more than ever, and there's no place for Alex or anyone else there, apart from Andrew, of course,' a close friend tells Heat magazine.
'It's a chance to be away from everyone that she feels adds to her stress.'
