A shower scene with Angelina Jolie? In your dreams Johnny Depp, says jealous partner

By SHARON CHURCHER

Too close for comfort: Johnny Depp with Angelina Jolie in The Tourist

Featuring Angelina Jolie in a naked embrace with Johnny Depp, it was expected to be the steamy highlight of new crime thriller The Tourist.

But it appears that Depp’s long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis has won a battle to axe the sexually explicit scene, in which the A-list pair were to writhe together in a shower.

French singer Paradis, 37, who has two children by the actor, was so distressed over the script’s passionate theme that she begged Depp to pull out of the project, according to a Hollywood source.

‘She put pressure on Johnny and finally he said he wanted the shower scene out,’ the source told The Mail on Sunday. ‘He told the producers it cheapened the movie and I am assured that his wishes are being honoured.’

According to a copy of the script leaked to New York celebrity magazine Life & Style, Depp, 47, plays American tourist Frank Taylor who seduces Interpol agent Cara Mason, played by Jolie, 35.

The script says that after walking into the shower, Taylor ‘lifts Cara against the glass, clutching at her slithery body, kissing her frantically.

Explicit: Vanessa Paradis was so distressed about the film's scene, she pleaded with Depp to pull out of the project

‘Cara later turns abruptly to Frank and presses her body against his. He’s taken by surprise but willingly responds. . . wrapping his arms around her.’

After learning of the scene, Paradis ‘wanted him right out of the production’, the source said.

'Angelina comes with a reputation. She stole Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston when they were shooting Mr & Mrs Smith together.’

Depp, who has lived with Paradis for 12 years, resisted her pleas. ‘But he gave in over the shower scene,’ the insider said.

‘It would have been highly embarrassing for Vanessa. When Angelina learned he wanted it out, she wanted Johnny to reconsider, but he got his way.’

A spokesman for Depp did not respond to a request for comment. A spokesman for producers Sony Pictures said: ‘I have not heard that the scene was cut. I will have to look into it.’

The Tourist is due for release in America next month.

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

At least someone made an effort: Brad Pitt dressed in all black but comedian Tina Fey wore a smart cocktail dress for the New York Premiere of Megamind

Perhaps he forgot he had a premiere to attend, or maybe Brad Pitt's luggage got lost in transit.

Whatever the reason the star barely made an effort as he attended the New York premiere of his new movie Megamind last night.

In an all-black outfit of leather boots, jeans, shirt, woolly hat and thick jacket, he looked dressed for a walk in the park, rather than a glamorous night out.

Although no stranger to this sort of event, Brad appeared uneasy on the carpet, with his hands in his pockets.

He didn't even remove his leather gloves for the photos, as he posed next to the cartoon stars of the children's film.

Brad provides the voice of Metro Man in the movie, starring alongside Tina Fey and Ben Stiller.

Super-confident The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs outshines Pixie Lott at Jackass 3D premiere

By SARAH BULL

Red carpet debut: Amy Childs looked more than a little confident as she posed on the red carpet at the Jackass 3D premiere in London

She's only been famous for a matter of weeks, but it seems The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs has quickly acclimatised to the celebrity lifestyle.

The wannabe glamour model appeared to be having the time of her life as she pouted and posed on the red carpet at the premiere of Jackass 3D in London's Leicester Square.

Amy, 23, wore a pretty pink and silver sparkly dress for the event, which she accessorised with matching silver court shoes and a silver clutch bag.

Pretty in pink: Amy teamed the pink dress with a silver bag and sparkly shoes

Also at the premiere was Amy's fellow Essex star, Jack Tweed, who the model is rumoured to have had a fling with.

And Amy was so confident on the red carpet that she even eclipsed Cry Me Out singer Pixie Lott, who opted for a colourful top, black miniskirt and trendy 'suspender' tights for the premiere.

Other famous faces to attend included Skins actresses Kathryn and Megan Prescott and Jackass 3D stars Bam Margera and Johnny Knoxville.

Teaming his smart suit with a pair of dark shades, Knoxville posed for photographers and met fans outside the event.

Not making an impression: Pixie Lott failed to stand out next to Amy

Talking about Jackass 3D recently, Knoxville said he didn't have to work too hard to decide which of the group's famous stunts would make it into the movie.

He said: 'Most of it has stayed the same since we started. We just tried to do really dumb things that make ourselves laugh. And that’s how we still measure a bit. If it makes us laugh it gets in the movie and that’s it.'

And the 39-year-old actor, who has also starred in movies including The Dukes of Hazzard, added that he would love to continue making Jackass films.

Star of the show: Jackass 3D star Johnny Knoxville wore a pair of dark sunglasses with his smart suit

Meeting fans: Johnny spent time signing autographs and meeting fans

He said: 'Jackass is what we do, and what we love. I love it. It’s my favorite thing to do.

'I’m lucky to do other movies, and I’m grateful, but Jackass is it. And the fact that people love it after all these years, we couldn’t be happier.'

Meanwhile, Jackass 3D director Jeff Tremaine said shooting the film in 3D adds to the overall effect of the film.

He explained: 'We wouldn’t have shot it in 3D if it really changed the process too much. It took a little more pre-planning on my part, and making sure that spontaneous stuff happened in front of the camera, but for the most part it didn’t change our process that much, we got used to it pretty quickly.'

Jackass 3D is released in the UK on Friday 5th November.

Celebrity guests: Jack Tweed and rapper Chipmunk were also at the premiere

Cruise that at the window? Star Tom films stunt... 124 floors up

By SIMON CABLE

Action man: Ben Mathew's picture of Mr Cruise as he took part in the stunt for the new movie

It wasn’t exactly the view they had expected from the 124th floor of the world’s tallest building.

As they looked out from the observation deck of the 2,717ft skyscraper, Ben Mathew and his family were suddenly confronted by Tom Cruise – dangling in mid-air outside the window.

The 48-year-old Hollywood star, suspended by several safety wires, was filming a stunt for Mission: Impossible IV.

The scene sees him chasing another actor around the outside of the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai.

Adrenaline junkie: Tom Cruise runs along the side of Dubai's Buri Khalifa, the world's tallest building, as he films scenes for the fourth Mission: Impossible film

Mr Mathew, who lives in Dubai, said: ‘My sister Caitlin is visiting from our home town of Norwich. I told her I was going to show her something really special and took her to the tower with my wife and kids.

‘When we got there we saw this pair of legs outside and assumed it must be a very brave window cleaner. Then Caitlin shouted, “That’s Tom Cruise!” I said, “Don’t be ridiculous”, but sure enough, it was. I grabbed my camera and he smiled and laughed.

‘He was cool as a cucumber. Anyone brave enough to film up the Burj Khalifa Tower deserves a Hollywood pay cheque.’

Transformed! How ambitious Rosie went from schoolgirl to lingerie model to Hollywood movie star - helped by a VERY skimpy bikini

By CLAUDIA JOSEPH and CAROLINE GRAHAM

Star quality: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley pictured with co-star Shia LaBeouf on the set of Transformers 3 earlier this year

Hollywood legend has it that when her predecessor, Megan Fox, auditioned for
the blockbuster movie Transformers, its director Michael Bay filmed her washing his Ferrari Spider.

So it was only natural that ambitious British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would use her own assets to impress the director.

In a skimpy bikini, she turned up at a beach barbecue with her actor boyfriend Jason Statham, a neighbour of the Hollywood director, and ‘somehow’ persuaded him to give her the role of Shia LaBeouf’s love interest in the third and final Transformers film, Dark Of The Moon.

It was a cunning move by the 23-year-old model known for her pouting lips and extremely long legs, who once breathlessly told a men’s magazine: ‘You have to know how to use your body. I’m not a shy person when it comes to doing my job.’

Flower girl: Rosie at a cousin's wedding aged ten

With no acting experience – apart from playing a lap-dancer in a promotion for Agent Provocateur – she knew she had to make an impact in another way.

A producer said: ‘She was wearing a tiny bikini which showed off her amazing body and none of the guys there, including Bay, could keep their eyes off her.

‘Next thing we know, she’s landed the most coveted role in Hollywood. Every girl in town wanted to replace Megan.

‘Rosie’s got this incredible act. Provocative and sexual, and yet so very English. The Americans are crazy about her.’

More proof of her stunning transformation from Devon schoolgirl to international It Girl came last week when she was named Britain’s most sought-after date in Tatler magazine’s Little Black Book.

Surfer: Rosie pictured having fun on the beach at the age of 11 (left) and as a 12-year-old in her school photo

Beating a clutch of Royals to the top spot – including Prince William’s cousin Lady Marina Windsor and Prince Harry’s former girlfriend Chelsy Davy – she was earmarked by the magazine for stardom.

A source said: ‘Transformers turned Megan into a massive star and it will do the same for Rosie. She’s never had any formal acting lessons but who cares? Transformers isn’t about winning Oscars. It’s about wearing skimpy outfits and looking drop-dead gorgeous.’

So was it luck or sheer determination that took Rosie from a small village outside Tiverton in Devon to Hollywood?

A hint comes on her Facebook page, which claims: ‘She is a distant relative of Queen Victoria.’ In truth, she is connected to Royalty only through the marriage of one of her distant relatives, Lieutenant-Commander Miles Huntington-Whiteley, to Queen Victoria’s great-great-granddaughter Victoria.

Rosie, the eldest of three children of Charles Huntington-Whiteley, a land agent and chartered surveyor, and Fiona, a fitness instructor, grew up in a farmhouse in the hamlet of Quither.

Top model: Rosie modelling for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Tatler has named her Britain's most sought-after date

Even while at St Peter’s Junior School she was ambitious. ‘I knew I was going to leave Devon and that whatever I did, it would be big,’ she said later.

But it was only after she arrived at Tavistock College in 1998 that she first showed the characteristics that would propel her to stardom.

She says she was a ‘massive flirt’, landing her first boyfriend Kyle Hunn. A keen musician who wanted to become a DJ or start a band, he was one of the in-crowd, a hallmark of all her future boyfriends.

In her school yearbook, she was voted the ‘person most likely to become a supermodel’ as well as ‘the girl with the best legs’ and the ‘biggest Barbie’. She came second on the lists for ‘prettiest girl’, ‘best-dressed girl’ and ‘prettiest bum’.

Seven years ago, just before sixth form, Rosie did work experience at Profile model agency.

Model booker Laura Manktelow said: ‘When she walked in, I just thought, “Oh my God”. She was only 15 and had bad teenage skin but she was really, really striking. Now she’s shot up to 5ft 9in, her skin is clear and she is just gorgeous.’

The next summer she became a full-time model for Profile, getting her big break on the New York catwalk alongside Naomi Campbell. She then moved to Models One, which landed her a coveted contract as the face of Burberry in 2008. But she was dropped after one season when a photo emerged of her in a club looking rather as if she was holding a bong to smoke cannabis.

Since then she has modelled for Victoria’s Secret and Agent Provocateur, is in this year’s Pirelli calendar and has been in videos with rappers Pharrell and Kanye West.
Her personal life has made headlines too. After breaking up with her schoolboy boyfriend, she dated model Chris Howe. When they split, she upgraded to British rock royalty, meeting Ronnie Wood’s son Tyrone three years ago at a Rolling Stones gig.

They were widely expected to marry, but they parted last November, leaving Tyrone ‘heartbroken’. Rosie then dated French actor Oliver Martinez, Kylie Minogue’s former squeeze, before moving to LA where she met Statham, 38.

While filming Transformers, a rumour surfaced that she had attracted the attentions of her co-star LaBeouf. Although he and Rosie vigorously denied it, he has since split from his British actress girlfriend Carey Mulligan.

Isla Fisher shows off her post-baby curves in a little red dress at Burke And Hare premiere

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Lady in red: Isla Fisher shows off her post-baby curves in a little red dress and velvet jacket at the London premiere of Burke And Hare

Isla Fisher made a triumphant return to the spotlight in a little red dress tonight as she made her first public appearance since becoming a second time mother.

The Australian-raised actress, 34, showed off her post-baby curves in a figure-hugging Dolce & Gabbana lace mini as she attended the London premiere of her new film Burke And Hare.

The 34-year-old, who married comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in March, joined co-stars Simon Pegg, Andy Serkin and Jessica Hynes at the Chelsea screening of the British black comedy.

Although she rapidly slimmed down after the birth of her first child Olive three years ago, Isla appears to be embracing her curves this time round as she displayed her ample cleavage in the tight dress.

It was reported last month that Fisher and Cohen, who have been together for eight years, welcomed a second child in late summer, but the name, sex or date of birth of the child has yet to be revealed.

While the former Home & Away actress remained coy over the details of the Cohen family's new addition, she did admit tonight she was suffering from bad morning sickness while shooting the film in Scotland earlier this year.

Changing shape: A pregnant Isla in May this year (left) and looking slim a few weeks after giving birth to first child Olive in November 2007 (right)

Fisher plays Helen M'Dougal, the love interest for Pegg's character William Burke, one half of serial killing duo Burke & Hare, along with Serkis as William Hare.

The actress revealed some of her co-stars assumed she had an eating disorder because of her morning sickness.

She said: 'I was actually pregnant during the shooting and I had severe morning sickness and I didn’t eat anything and I just vomited all the time.

'Simon Pegg is the least observant actor in the planet because he didn’t notice. I think he presumed I was just a typical Hollywood bulimic actress rather than the fact that I was severely sick.'

What's black, white and red... Isla joins her on-screen love interest Simon Pegg (right) and co-star Andy Serkis at the Chelsea Cinema on the King's Road

Pegg conceded he didn't realise she was pregnant: 'I didn't know what was going on. She didn't look pregnant until the last minute. I saw her a couple of months later and she was like a balloon. None of us knew, not even John knew. She hid it well.'

The film, directed by John Landis, who was responsible for Michael Jackson's Thriller video, also stars Pegg's Spaced co-star Jessica Hynes as Hare's wife and Tom Wilkinson as the killers' 'customer' Dr Knox.

The real-life Burke and Hare, who hailed from Ireland, were responsible for the deaths of at least 17 people from 1827 until 1828.

Glamming up: Jessica Hynes wore a vintage-style orange gown (left) while co-star Pollyanna McIntosh were for a Gothic look in a black gown and coat

After murdering their victims, the pair then went on to sell the bodies to Dr Robert Knox, who dissected them in his anatomy classes at Barclay's anatomy school in Surgeon's Square.

The pair were eventually caught when one of their lodgers tipped off the police after finding the body of their last victim, Marjory Campbell Docherty, under her bed.

As the evidence against them was weak, Hare was offered immunity from prosecution if he testified against Burke - which he did - so the latter was found guilty and hanged in January 1829.

After serving a short time in prison, Hare was released in February 1829 and left Edinburgh, never to be seen again.

Burke and Hare is due to release in UK cinemas on Octber 29.

Right royal turn-out on the red carpet for the London Film Festival premiere of new Oscar-tipped movie The King's Speech

By JODY THOMPSON

Royal welcome: Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter and Colin Firth arrive for the London Film Festival premiere of The King's Speech at the Odeon Leicester Square with Helena radiant in Vivienne Westwood

It's already being tipped for Oscars glory - so it was hardly surprising that a star-studded crowd was out in force tonight for the London premiere of new movie The King's Speech.

Starring Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, Guy Pearce and Geoffrey Rush to name but a few, it tells the story of how King George VI ascended to the throne despite his terrible stutter after his brother Edward VIII abdicated to marry Wallis Simpson.

Often-eccentric Ms Bonham Carter - famed for her often offbeat approach to fashion - looked stunning in Vivienne Westwood tartan-bodiced dress with a black silk full skirt.

The royal three: Geoffrey, Helena and Colin crack up as they pose for the camera

Film buffs: Will Young, left, was at the premiere, as was Sir Ben Kingsley and his wife Daniela Lavender

It's the second night in a row that Helena's worn Westwood - yesterday, she wore an Anglomania skirt-suit for a press conference launching the film at the London Film Festival.

Despite her unflattering lipstick yesterday that observers remarked made her teeth look a bit yellow, as her bag declared, tonight the actress was very much a 'glamour girl'.

Firth meanwhile plays the nervous royal - known as Bertie - who reluctantly took the role despite a severe speech impediment.

Hollywood stars: Claire Danes, wearing a retro print black and red dress, and fiance Hugh Dancy at the Leicester Square gala screening

Red carpet: Colin and his wife Livia and Helena's husband, director Tim Burton

Check her out: Ms Bonham Carter wearing Vivienne Westwood again yesterday

Coaxed along by his wife Queen Elizabeth - played by Bonham Carter - he is also trained to overcome his stammer by an Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue, played by Pirates Of The Caribbean star Rush.

He then becomes a voice of comfort to his subjects on the radio as Britain is plunged into the Second World War.

Directed by The Damned United's Tom Cooper, it also features Timothy Spall as Winston Churchill, and Jennifer Ehle - who Colin previously starred alongside in his famous TV adaptation of Pride And Prejudice - as Logue's wife Myrtle.
It also features Guy Pearce as Edward VIII, Michael Gambon as King George V, and Derek Jacobi as Dr Cosmo Lang.

Until earlier this week, the film was set to be saddled with a 15 certificate, a decision based on a scene where Bertie shouts out swear words to try and thwart his stutter.

However, Cooper and his cast led such a protest that the BBFC backed down and hours before the BFI London Film Festival screening, gave the film a 12A rating.
Firth is already named as a favourite to win Best Actor at next year's Oscars, just three years after Helen Mirren landed the Best Actress gong for her role as the late king's daughter in The Queen.

Intriguingly, the film's screenwriter David Seidler says he began working on the idea in the 1980s and wrote to the Queen Mother about it.

However, he claims that she wrote back asking him not to make the film in her lifetime, as the memories were still 'too painful'.
The film opens across the UK on 7 January.

Harry Crossdresser: Daniel Radcliffe appears in girl's bra in new Deathly Hallows trailer

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Cross-dressing Harry: Daniel Radcliffe appears in a new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a girl's bra as his friends, all disguised as Harry, strip off

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will be released next month and as the date approaches more previously unseen footage from the film has been released - including scenes of Daniel Radcliffe wearing a girl's bra.

True fans of the series will know that it isn't a case of Harry cross-dressing, but is in fact one of his friends, disguised as the Boy Wizard.

In a pivotal early scene, Harry must be transported from his aunt and uncle's home, where he is protected from his enemy Lord Voldermort, to another location.
Scroll down to watch trailer

His protectors, the Order of the Pheonix, come up with a plan to evade the Death Eaters (Voldermort's henchmen).

Six of Harry's friends - Ron and Hermione, as well as Fred and George Weasley, Fleur Delacour, and Mundungus Fletcher, drink a brew called Polyjuice Potion, which transforms them into mirror images of the real Potter.

They are then instructed by Mad-Eye Moody to 'strip', and change into identical clothes.

In the trailer we see Fleur (disguised as Harry), the student who competed against Harry in the Tri-Wizard tournament in fourth instalment The Goblet of Fire, forced to change out of her female clothing.

Before: In a pivotal scene, Harry needs to be transported but is in danger of being kidnapped, so his friends drink Polyjuice Potion to hide the real Harry from his enemies

The vain French girl, who is now engaged to Ron's older brother Bill, is disgusted with Harry's body, and says to her fiancé, 'Look away, I'm hideous.'

In the book Hermione, played by Emma Roberts, says to her bespectacled friend: 'Harry, your eyesight is really awful.'

The six decoy Harrys, plus the real thing, pair off with members of the Order of the Pheonix to make their way to the Weasley home.

After: After drinking the potion, the six 'decoy Harrys' have to change clothes in order to fool his potential captors. Their real identities (l-r) are: Fred and George, Mundungus, Fleur, Ron and Hermione

Just as he arrived at the Dursley house on a motorcycle with Hagrid as a baby sixteen years before, Harry leaves with the gamekeeper and his owl Hedwig.

The Deathly Hallows follows Harry's final journey as the moment that he must face his evil nemesis approaches.

The seventh book has been split into two parts, and Part 1, released in the UK on November 19, will follow Harry, Ron and Hermione as they drop out of school to complete the task set to them by thei headmaster Professor Dumbldore before his death in the previous instalment.

Disguise: We first saw Harry, Ron and Hermione (pictured) experiment with Polyjuice Potion in second book The Chamber of Secrets

They cross the country looking to find and destroy the remaining 'Horcruxes', which contain bits of Lord Voldermort's divided soul - the secret to his immortality.

Once they succeed, Harry will finally be able to battle his enemy in a final dual. This film, directed by David Yates, will explore the relationships between the three lead characters, as the trio is put under enormous strain emotionally.

The second part, slated for released on July 15, 2011, will conclude the epic story, and will also jump forward to reveal the characters as adults in the future.

The books' creator, J.K. Rowling was today in Denmark to be presented with the H.C. Andersen Literature Prizeby Princess Marie in Odense, Hans Christian Andersen's birth place.

Creator: Harry Potter author JK Rowling was in Denamrk today to receive the H.C. Andersen Literature Prize

Czech this out! Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner film Mission: Impossible IV scenes in Prague's freezing waters

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Talk about suffering for your art!

Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner braved bone chilling temperatures on Saturday night as they plunged into water measuring around 14 degrees Fahrenheit in the Vltava river.

The pair were filming scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible IV.

We're going in: Tom Cruise dons a leather jacket while Jeremy Renner gets to wear only a suit in the freezing Vlatva River

Suffering for your art: Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner plunged into Prague's chilly Vlatva river to film scenes for Mission Impossible IV

Divers to the rescue! Temperatures were so called you could see the breath on the actors' mouths

The weather was so cold you could see the breath forming around the actors' mouths. However, neither was allowed to wear a wetsuit for their waterlogged action scenes.

While Cruise, 48, was lucky enough to don a black leather jacket before leaping into the chilly waters, Renner, 39, had to film his scenes wearing nothing but a suit.

Night time temperatures outside the water were at least a little warmer, measuring at around 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Jumping to safety: Jeremy Renner gets a helping hand from the crew

Directed by Brad Bird, other actors involved in the film include Josh Holloway, Lea Seydoux, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Michael Nyqvist.

According to Variety, plot details of the movie are strictly under wraps as is the official title fo the fourth instalment , although it has been confirmed that the movie will not carry on where Mission Impossible III left off.

Unlike the previous three Mission Impossible movies, Cruise's character - Ethan Hunt - is working with only one other agent, played by Jeremy Renner, and his role is apparently as large as Cruise's.

There's also speculation that Renner could play the lead role in future Mission Impossible films and eventually replace Cruise.

Cruise is co-producing the movie with Lost creator J.J. Abrams, who has cast one of Lost's biggest stars - Josh Holloway - in the movie.

Mission Impossible IV is due to be released on December 16 in the United States.
